What CTF is
The Creative Talent Foundation (CTF) exists to find, develop and advance Africa's creative talent. It backs the programmes that give talent structure: education, skills development and the pathways that turn creative ability into a career.
How CTF and CIIFA work together
The two organisations split the work cleanly. CTF develops talent through impactful projects and programmes. CIIFA runs the business of the creative industries: it designs, executes and scales the platforms, and connects people to information and opportunities.
- CBA for Africa is a CTF programme, executed by CIIFA: the foundation's flagship investment in creative business education.
- The Skill Pool Initiative is built together, CTF × CIIFA: the talent ladder the whole ecosystem stands on.
- The AMEDI Festival is the annual public moment of both organisations, built around the CBA graduation.
Why a foundation
Talent development done properly is patient work. Holding it in a foundation keeps the mission stable while the commercial platforms around it grow: the foundation stays focused on people, and the enterprise keeps the machine running.
