The Creative Industries Initiative for Africa, the organisers of the Music Business Academy (MBA) for Africa are proud to announce the release of the MBA For Africa latest collaborative project, “Pepple Street,” powered by The Orchard. It is an album that transcends borders and unites diverse musical talents from across the African continent.
The album title is inspired by the iconic life of Fela Kuti, who once called Pepple Street home, this 16-track masterpiece weaves a tapestry of stories, blending sounds and voices from different corners of the great continent of Africa.
The music itself is a fusion of traditional African rhythms and contemporary sounds, blending elements of hip-hop, R&B, and Afrobeats. Each track tells a story, from the upbeat anthems of empowerment to the introspective ballads of love and loss.
